Ana Carolina Alpírez is a Guatemalan journalist with experience as editor, reporter and correspondent of news agencies in Guatemala and Mexico. A professor and consultant for several international organizations, she is the founder and editor of Ojoconmipisto, a digital media that trains reporters, promotes citizen participation and focuses on the accountability of public funds. Since 2014, Ojoconmipisto has won four national press prizes and two international ones in different categories.
