It is widely believed that the current political conflict takes place along the line that opposes the elite and the people. But can the elites be identified with the establishment, that is, the set of hegemonic powers? And what do we mean by the people? Is it a sociological datum or a political construction through the programmatic catalyst of values and above all of identified "enemies"? This issue will be considered by two different voices of Italian culture that have never avoided public intervention and political commitment.
