How to reach the electoral center which might be worried about the effects of immigration? A research project tries to provide an answer.

On the migratory phenomenon, the populist narrative polarises the debate by relying on the fear of otherness, but without giving real answers to the concerns of the population. The silent majority, often heterogeneous, remains uncertain but without real interlocutors. More in Common and the Social Change Initiative have created a European research project on opinions and attitudes regarding immigration, Islam and national identity, with the idea of fostering a positive debate. The research was published in Germany and France in summer 2017, while the Italian version, which has Cild as a national partner, was published in March 2018.
