Paolo Garimberti

Paolo Garimberti is president of RAI-Radio Televisione Italiana, the Italian public service broadcaster. He has held this post since 2009. In December 2011 he was unanimously elected as Euronews Supervisory Board Chairman. Euronews is a multilingual European all-news TV channel. He previously worked at the Italian daily la Repubblica in a variety of roles. He also founded and then directed the CNN Italia website from 2000 to 2003, a round-the-clock news channel managed as a joint collaboration between CNN and la Repubblica, with editorial offices in Rome and Atlanta.
