Hassan Abbas is an experienced Lebanese-American journalist with over 15 years of expertise in digital media and the MENA region’s independent media landscape. He has focused on addressing challenges in independent media and the critical link between diversity and civil peace. As Co-Editor-in-Chief of Raseef22 (2019–2023), he led editorial operations, developed content strategies, and managed donor-funded initiatives. Hassan has contributed to key research projects on media development, political violence, and accountability, highlighting the role of journalism in fostering transparency and social impact.
