Francesco Vignarca is the coordinator of Rete Italiana per il Disarmo. In this role he has overseen and promoted initiatives such as Control Arms - to apply for an international arms treaty - and the campaign for the banning of nuclear weapons. Since the beginning of 2016 he has contributed to Emergency in a working group that formulates actions and content against war. The collaboration led to the creation of the web documentary Storia di una pallottola (2016). He has contributed to Corriere della Sera, Azione Nonviolenta, Il Manifesto and Altreconomia. He holds a degree in Astrophysics from the University of Insubria and a Masters in Sociology from the University of Milan-Bicocca. His latest book is F-35. L'aereo più pazzo del mondo (2013).
