The last two years have seen moves by governments and foundations around the world to support quality journalism as well as new data that gives insights into how digital native outlets survive and thrive. This panel will focus on what is working and what is likely to be tried in the coming years. We'll be delving into Sembra Media's study of digital natives, new thinking from governments about policies such as tax credits to support local news, taxing Big Tech and the aftermath of Australia's requiring Google and Facebook to pay more for news.
