Everyone loves to hear about success stories in digital transformation, but learning how New York Times, FT and the like have done it is not necessarily helpful for smaller, less prestigious media outlets. This is because every single newsroom has to develop their own vision and strategy for their digital future. And everyone can. On this panel editors of very different local news media in Portugal, Italy and Germany talk about their own efforts and recipes for success. Some participate in WAN-IFRA's Table Stakes Europe Programme, funded by Google DNI, that helps 15 European publishers to make their newsrooms fit for the digital media environment.
