Why don't green jobs make news?

In Italy there are almost 3 million people doing a green job, 13% of the total national employment. Moreover, these figures are characterized by a greater contractual stability: permanent hiring is over 46%, against 24% of non-green professions. Also the Umbria Regional Council - through the European funds - has contributed to the training of green workers by funding training courses that also valorise this sector. Yet, despite all these positive data, there is very little talk of green jobs.
