Luca Locatelli is a multimedia visual storyteller who uses photography as his main narrative tool. His work has been published in National Geographic Magazine, the New York Times Magazine, Wired, Stern and others. His research is focused on interactions between culture, science and the environment while documenting the role that sustainable technologies play in building the world that awaits us. Winner of the 2018 World Press Photo in the environment category, Luca will share the aims, reasons and challenges of his long-term project entitled Materia: a journey to explore those realities where, for better or for worse, the future is being built.
