Gender, violence, harassment: best practice for journalists

Language expresses culture, language creates culture; editorial choices reveal the positions of a newspaper and define them, especially at a time when we are questioning ourselves collectively about a paradigm shift with regard to the treatment of certain sensitive issues such as gender, domestic violence, sexual harassment. The workshop explores the different ways of reporting the news, the critical issues of communication related to social issues, the weight of the choices made in the treatment of sensitive subjects and the pitfalls of clickbait; the goal is to establish policies of good practice for a more open, respectful and inclusive communication.
