The workshop will focus on the experience of journalists covering the "refugee crisis", specifically the challenges that arise when working on often long-lasting issues related to refugee stories.
Particular attention will be given to the skills of interviewing traumatised sources and what it takes to do sensitive relevant work in this area. The Dart Centre has published a resource related to these issues with journalists and trauma experts from its network.
