What does it mean to represent diversity and migrants in the media? Recently there has been an urge to use politically correct words when reporting about migrants, ethnic groups and diversity in general. But how effective they really are on media and how can long-time reporting be improved? Taking the experience of the two documentarians who are traveling the world to report on African migrants far from stereotypes, the best practices to report on a diverse group will be discussed.
The panel preludes to the evening screening of (IN)VISIBLE CITIES, a documentary series on African migrants settled in 13 cities of the world.
Jean Claude Mbede Fouda will moderate the panel.
