European Union Young Journalists award

The award recognises the best work on issues related to the European Union – in print or online media, on video and on the radio - by Italian journalism school students and/or Italian university students who contribute to university radio stations.

The third edition of the Prize for young journalists, organized by the European Commission Representation in Italy, in cooperation with the Associazione Giornalisti Scuola di Perugia, and under the patronage of Ordine dei Giornalisti and Associazione Stampa Romana, aims to help young journalists realize the importance of the EU dimension of journalism as well as improve their knowledge and ability to deal with all related issues for a more active citizens' involvement and participation. For the third year in a row, the Prize will be awarded at the International Journalism Festival in Perugia.
