MOST meet-up: join the conversation on non-profit international reporting.

International reporting faces many challenges. The current geopolitical turn in European self-identification makes some of them evident. A look under the hood shows the many problematic notions often taken for granted that warrant some reflection instead.

Who does international reporting benefit? Can it avoid serving projects of domination? Is there a way to challenge colonial tropes? Can a journalist covering international affairs strive for transnational solidarity? Do the same standards and principles apply while covering various countries worldwide, including in Western countries?

The event tries to answer the fundamental question of whether international reporting can be reformed, by opening a conversation on achievements and difficulties in experimenting with alternative ways to do international reporting from Europe and on Europe.
